Car Soundproofing Configurator

The W&B web studio has completed the development of a large-scale car soundproofing and vibration insulation calculation configurator for Safari-Ukraine. The new tool is now available on the project website: Safari-Ukraine.

About the Project

Our goal was to develop an online calculator capable of accurately estimating the amount of materials required for soundproofing a specific vehicle, taking into account the selected technology and processing zones.

We implemented a non-standard catalog structure with approximately 900 vehicle products, where each product represents a specific make and model (for example, Toyota Camry). Separate material products were created for vibration insulation, sound insulation, and sound-absorbing materials.

For each vehicle model, material consumption standards were defined depending on:

• technology type (Basic, Standard, Maximum),

• processing zones,

• sheet size (for materials available in different formats).

How the Calculator Works

Users select three parameters: body type, brand, and model. Using the OkFilter module, the system filters vehicles and automatically opens the corresponding product page.

Then the customer selects:

• the technology type,

• processing zones,

• sheet size.

Based on predefined formulas, the calculator generates a structured table with grouped materials, required sheet quantities, and total cost. Materials are grouped by technology and zone.

Customers can immediately place an order with pre-calculated materials or use the “Request a calculation” option if their vehicle is not listed.

AI-Powered Automation

We also implemented AI-assisted functionality for bulk creation of vehicle products, including all consumption standards, attributes, and options. This allowed efficient processing of over 900 models while minimizing manual errors.

Result

The client received a powerful sales automation tool that:

• simplifies complex technical calculations,

• increases conversion rates,

• reduces manager workload,

• ensures transparent cost calculation.
