Introducing the New Version 4.4 of the MegaCalculator Module for Opencart

The W&B team continues to enhance one of the most popular modules for online stores — MegaCalculator. Since its launch, it has helped hundreds of projects simplify customer interactions, speed up the ordering process, and make calculations as accurate and convenient as possible. Now we are excited to present version 4.4, which comes with numerous improvements that unlock even more possibilities for store owners and their customers.

A New Level of Convenience and Functionality

The main innovation of version 4.4 is a completely redesigned formula editing page. Administrators can now get a full product card preview and create calculations in a much more user-friendly format. Intermediate formulas can be added in one place, with access to most mathematical functions as well as logical operators (if, or, not). This turns MegaCalculator into a universal tool for building any type of calculation scheme — from simple package counts to complex combinations with multiple parameters.

Thanks to the new formula result output to a selector feature, the administrator can literally “attach” a formula to any element on the product page. This means that customers instantly see the result in the most convenient spot of the product card without unnecessary clicks.

Advanced Settings and Flexibility

MegaCalculator 4.4 now offers more flexible numeric parameter settings: you can set rounding, adjust step values, and even add sliders.

Additionally, the module now adapts to most Opencart themes “out of the box,” saving valuable integration time.

Faster Work and Expanded Features

With version 4.4, the module has become even more versatile. You can now group related products into sections, display subtotals, and even show delivery methods in the quick order form. Administrators can copy formulas with all their settings, and formula results can be linked to checkboxes, radio buttons, or dropdown menus.

Control, Accuracy, and Convenience

One of the key innovations is the ability to send preliminary calculations via email. Customers can now receive results directly in their inbox, which is especially useful for complex orders.

Numeric parameters have been further refined, and small conveniences — such as a scroll-to-top button when editing formulas — have been added.

Integration and Speed

Administrators can now import ready-made formula settings from the library, saving time when launching new projects. Five standard schemes are included as part of the instructions.

Formula results can also be displayed as plain text. For even greater convenience, quick links to products and categories used in formulas have been added, along with a button for instantly adding a source product.
